Wine: an enthralling savoir-faire

Wine has become a strong emblem of knowledge, experience and know-how on an international scale. By its type of vine, diversity, country, areas and prices, today's wines bring a new image of a product that is now accessible to everyone.

Born in Lille, in the far north-eastern reaches of France and graduate of Aulnoye-Aymeries, a top-rated French hotel & catering school, I also obtained my diploma in hotel marketing. Nowadays I share my passion of wines with many people that are personally close to me, and have professional offered my services as a teacher on the subject of wines since 2003.

Wine Lessons

Instead of annoying beginners with complicated terms, I transmit a simple and clear message. Lessons are designed and given with user-friendliness and, are above all very practical and not theoretical. A lesson is about two hours in length. During the lesson time the student has the possibility to taste five wines of different origins (areas, colors, type of vines). Each lesson utilizes explanatory cards to better discover each wine's area of source, its type of vine, also information regarding how long to preserve such a wine, at which temperature to serve it, and especially with which food dishes to serve it with. The lesson provides advice on the purchase of wines, glasses and other accessories. In addition, you'll learn how to properly open a bottle and how to serve it under the best conditions.
